Founder OS ("we", "us", or "our") operates a growth analytics platform that helps SaaS founders track user behavior, understand product metrics, and improve go-to-market execution.

2. Data We Collect
2.1 Data You Provide
We collect account registration details (name, email address, company name), payment information processed by our payment provider (we do not store card data directly), and messages sent to our support team.
2.2 Data Collected via Tracking Scripts
When you install our tracking script on your platform, we may collect page views and navigation paths, button clicks and user interactions, session durations, device type and user agent, approximate geolocation at country or region level, and any custom events you define.
2.3 Data from Third-Party Integrations
If you connect external services (e.g., Google Analytics), we access only the data required to generate the reports and insights you requested. We do not access unrelated data from those services.
2.4 Platform Usage Data
We collect basic information about how you use the Founder OS platform, such as features accessed and session activity, to keep the product working well.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use collected data to:
- Deliver and operate the Founder OS platform
- Generate analytics, dashboards, and reports for your account
- Improve platform performance and features
- Respond to support requests
- Send product updates and relevant communications where you have opted in
- Meet our legal obligations
We do not sell your data or your end-users' data to any third party.
4. Lawful Basis for Processing
Where GDPR applies, we process personal data under the following legal bases:
- Contractual necessity: Account and billing data required to provide and maintain your account.
- Legitimate interests: Platform usage data and support correspondence, for operating and improving the service.
- Consent: Marketing and newsletter communications, which you may withdraw at any time.
- Legal obligation: Data retained to comply with applicable law.
5. Data Ownership
You retain ownership of all data collected through your platforms or imported via integrations.
By using Founder OS, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your data solely to provide our services. We may use anonymized, aggregated data (which cannot identify any individual) to improve the platform and produce general benchmarking insights.
6. Your Responsibilities as a Customer
Because Founder OS processes data on behalf of you and your users, you are responsible for:
- Installing and configuring tracking scripts correctly per our documentation
- Informing your end-users that data is being collected as required by applicable laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, PDPA)
- Obtaining any necessary consents from your end-users before sending their data to Founder OS
- Ensuring your data collection practices comply with laws in your jurisdiction
- Complying with the terms of any Data Processing Agreement (DPA) in place
8. Google User Data
We use Google Tag Manager and may offer Google Analytics integration in the product.
What we access: Google Tag Manager loads analytics and marketing tags, which may collect device information, page interactions, and cookie identifiers for measurement purposes. If you connect Google Analytics, we access only read-only metrics to generate dashboards and reports. We do not access Gmail, Google Drive, or Google Calendar.
Newsletter: If you subscribe via our newsletter form, we collect your email address, a platform label, and a timestamp. This data is stored securely and used only to send relevant updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Sharing: We do not sell Google user data. Data is shared with subprocessors only as required to provide the service.
Revoking access: You can disconnect Google integrations from your account settings at any time. Upon revocation, we will stop accessing data from that integration.
9. Data Sharing and Subprocessors
We share your data only with third-party subprocessors required to operate the platform, such as cloud hosting and payment processing providers. All subprocessors are bound by data processing agreements and may not use your data for their own purposes.
We do not sell your data.
Customers requiring a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) may request one by contacting support@founder-os.ai.

11. Data Security
We apply technical and organizational measures to protect data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Data is transmitted over TLS. Access is limited to personnel who require it to perform their work.
No internet-based system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you acknowledge that data is provided at your own risk.
If a data breach occurs that poses a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify you and relevant supervisory authorities in accordance with applicable law.
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on individuals.
12. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: You can ask us to fix inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion: You can request that we delete your personal data.
- Restriction: You can ask us to limit how we process your data.
- Objection: You can object to certain processing activities.
- Data portability: You can request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent: Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
- Lodge a complaint: You have the right to contact the data protection authority in your country.
