Founder OS provides tools for data tracking and reporting. Users can install tracking scripts on their digital platforms (e.g., websites, mobile apps) to monitor user behaviors via event-based tracking, or integrate with third-party platforms (e.g., Google Analytics) to import and analyze data.

Data Collection

We collect data through tracking scripts and third-party integrations.

• Tracking Scripts: We may collect data including page views, button clicks, session durations, user agents, device types, geolocation, and custom-defined events.
• Third-party Integrations: You may authorize Founder OS to access data from external services (e.g., Google Analytics) via OAuth or API.

You are responsible for ensuring that your data collection practices comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Data Ownership and Use

• Your Data: You retain ownership of data collected through your platforms or integrated sources.
• License to Use: You grant Founder OS a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to access, process, and analyze your data to provide services including reports, analytics, insights, and support.
• Anonymized Aggregation: We may anonymize and aggregate data to improve services, benchmarking, and insights. Aggregated data will not identify individuals or customers.

User Responsibilities

• Install tracking code according to documentation and use it properly.

Founder OS uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the platform, measure usage, and enhance functionality.

Cookie Categories & Default Status

• Strictly Necessary: Essential for core functionality such as login, security, and consent storage. Always on.
• Functional: Remember user preferences (e.g., language, UI settings). Off by default.
• Analytics: Measure usage, performance, and diagnostics (e.g., pageviews, session data). Off by default.
• Marketing / Advertising: Used for campaign measurement and (re-)targeting. Off by default.

Consent & Controls

• Optional cookies are off by default and only set if you explicitly allow them via the cookie banner or settings.
• You can toggle cookie categories on or off at any time and withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
• Refusing optional cookies does not prevent access to core features, though some enhancements may not function.

Legal Basis

Google User Data Disclosures

This website and related services may use Google technologies (e.g., Google Tag Manager) and Google APIs in the product. The disclosures below explain how Google-related data is accessed, used, shared, stored, and retained.

Data Accessed

• Current site: We do not request or access Google end-user data via OAuth (e.g., Gmail, Drive, Calendar). We use Google Tag Manager to load analytics/marketing tags, which may collect device information, page interactions, and cookie identifiers for measurement purposes.
• Emails you submit: If you subscribe via the newsletter form, we collect your email address. We store your email, a platform label ("Landing page"), and a timestamp.
• Product integrations (future/optional): If customers connect Google services in the product (e.g., Google Analytics), we only request read-only metrics necessary to provide reports and insights. No Google end-user content (e.g., emails, files) is accessed.

Data Usage

• Analytics/measurement data loaded via Google Tag Manager is used to understand site usage, improve performance, and measure campaigns.
• Newsletter emails are used to contact you with relevant onboarding updates or information you requested.
• If connected in the product, Google Analytics metrics are used to generate dashboards, performance insights, and reports for the customer who authorized access.

Data Sharing

• We do not sell Google user data or your newsletter email.
• Data may be shared with subprocessors strictly to provide the service (e.g., Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager, cloud hosting). Sharing is limited to the minimum required for functionality and compliance.
• We may use anonymized, aggregated data to improve services and benchmarking; this does not identify individuals.

Data Storage & Protection

• Newsletter emails are stored in a Google Sheet controlled by our service account. Access is restricted and authenticated using server-side credentials stored as environment variables.
• Data is transmitted over TLS; access is limited on a need-to-know basis, following the principle of least privilege.
• We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures; however, no system is 100% secure.

Data Retention & Deletion

• Newsletter emails are retained to provide the requested communications. You may opt out at any time.
• You can request deletion of your data by contacting us at support@founder-os.ai.
• For Google product integrations, customers can revoke access at any time; upon revocation, we cease further access and processing of data from that integration.
